It all began with two young Indonesians — Jo and Lyo — and their shared fascination with the world of fountain pens.
What started as curiosity soon became a passion: the textures of ink, the rhythm of writing, and the quiet joy of watching colors flow onto paper.

Jo dreamed of painting with ink, while Lyo found herself collecting pens, curious about every shade and shimmer.
Together, they explored, experimented, and exchanged ideas about the beauty of handwriting — and from that shared spark, Tinta Nusantara was born.
