Pojok Selatan #1 - Easter Writing Session with Youth Rumah Roti, Bogor
Pojok Selatan is a space for genuine creativity, where a sense of safety and openness becomes the heart of every experience.

For our very first hosted event, we collaborated with a youth community based in Bogor, part of the Christian community Rumah Roti.
In this session, we invited the youth to write a letter in commemoration of the Easter season. Participants could choose between three themes: a letter to God, a letter to themselves, or a letter to their future. To guide their writing, they were introduced to the wheel of emotions, helping them reflect and put their feelings into words.
Through writing, many found a sense of clarity—processing uncertainties while also learning to be grateful for their present lives.

At the same time, they discovered a new experience in writing with a fountain pen. One participant shared, “I never thought my handwriting could feel this personal and beautiful.” Exploring different inks from Tinta Nusantara also became a way for them to express their emotions more freely.
To close the session, each participant created a final version of their letter on calligraphy paper—something they could take home as a personal keepsake.
