In this edition of Pojok Selatan, attendees were invited to write Bible cards using fountain pens. Throughout the session, many small discussions naturally emerged — from what kind of pen is suitable for beginners, whether it is possible to write beautifully and neatly, to whether fountain pens are easy to use.

The three-hour workshop began with an introduction to Tinta Nusantara, fountain pens, and Copperplate Calligraphy — the script used for writing the Bible cards. The session then continued with writing drills, where participants practiced using the guidance sheets provided. Afterward, each participant created their own Bible card.

There was, of course, a sense of tiredness along the way. Yet through the process of learning the details of writing Copperplate Calligraphy with a fountain pen, this three-hour workshop taught something meaningful: there is a time to breathe, a time to follow guidance, a time to laugh and enjoy lighthearted moments, and most importantly, a time to keep an open heart that is willing to learn. With that kind of heart, knowledge can be absorbed more deeply.

In the end, writing is not only about creating an aesthetic result. It is also about the process that takes place behind every stroke.

Tinta Nusantara is present through colors that accompany its users, allowing each piece of paper to reveal a personal character of its own.
